Over the years, the Tree of Light has become a bright landmark of South Africa’s festive season, synonymous with goodwill and the raising of much-needed funds for the community work of Hospice Witwatersrand and The Star Seaside Fund.

This year, its 18th season, the tree will continue spreading the message of love, hope and solidarity to the community. “Our objective is to awaken the community to unconditional love and healing through social responsibility. By reaching out to others, we are receiving the greatest gift of all - the true essence of being! Just as the ocean is made up of millions of droplets, our income depends upon thousands of very special gifts, each of which; no matter how big or small; makes a difference”.
